The Herb Hazen Memorial Accuracy Challenge
“you can’t miss fast enough to win”
NEWS
We have been monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation closely and have made the decision to postpone the event until further notice
The silver lining in this delay is that we will all have the opportunity to practice a little more prior to the match.
You Can’t Miss Fast Enough To Win!
The Herb Hazen Memorial Accuracy Challenge will be part some activities in honor of our friend Herb Hazen. A Celebration of Life will be held, as well as a special pistol competition at Jackson Hole Gun Club. The pistol completion will be a modified IDPA-style event, with a bias towards accuracy over speed.
Please watch this space for more information, and check back often.
So what is it?
The Herb Hazen Accuracy Challenge will be an IDPA-style, pistol-only competition consisting of a number of stages.
The stages will be divided between short stages, referred to as “speed shoots” and longer stages, referred to as “field courses.”
Scoring will be modified to reward accuracy over speed, with greater penalties (more time added) for less accurate shot placement.
